Rough River.pdf This is an alternate route to Kentucky's Rough River Dam state park and it's great restaurant.  The route features delicious twisties guaranteed to whet your appetite for their incredible banana pudding, and help work off the calories on the way home.
Dock Route.pdf   This loop takes you to one of our favorite restaurants, The Dock, located in Leavenworth, Indiana. The emphasis on this non-so-direct route is on favorite area twisties, and it includes KY-1389, IN-66 through the Hoosier National Forest, and the sweeping curves of IN-62.
Hill and Dale.pdf Featuring scenic back roads and rolling hills, this route is designed for riders who enjoy a traditional group riding experience.  (Designed for the All Bike Ride on September 28th, 2003.)
Curve Chasers.pdf This route is designed for riders who enjoy a spirited ride on twisty roads.  The emphasis here is not on outright speed, but on challenging the curves at an enjoyable pace.  (Designed for the All Bike Ride on September 28th, 2003.)

The best ride I know that goes from Newburgh to Rough River and back is as
follows:
66 to old 231 south at Reo
old 231 south to 60 in Owensboro
60 east past the power plant to 144
144 east to 992 at stop sign
right on 992 to 105
105 south to 79
79 south to Rough River
(return)
79 south to 110
110 west to 54
54 west to 69 just past Fordsville
69 north (including jog on 60 west) to Hawesville
stay on 69 thru Hawesville over bridge to 66 at Cannelton
west on 66 thru Tell City and Rockport and back to Newburgh

Entire trip is about 170 miles. Makes a very nice ride.
